Ivory Coast coach Emerse Faé dismissed after World Cup exit

Emerse Faé is no longer the head coach of the Ivory Coast national soccer team following their elimination from the World Cup. The team lost to Norway after also suffering a defeat against Germany in the group stage, where they had raised concerns about fair play. The Ivorian Football Federation acknowledged Faé's contributions in their announcement of his departure. A successor has yet to be appointed.
