Ivy Enriquez, an unbeaten bantamweight boxing prospect from El Paso, is sidelined due to a torn ACL in her right knee. The injury occurred during training, causing her to pull out of her scheduled fight against Perla “La Princesa” Lomeli on August 7 at the El Paso County Coliseum. Enriquez had been anticipated as a co-main event fighter on the card, which will still feature a bout between world-ranked Emanuel Moreno and Guillermo Gutierrez for the WBA Continental Americas bantamweight championship.
