Jacardia Wright poised for NFL roster spot with Seahawks tonight

Summary

Seattle Seahawks running back Jacardia Wright will compete for a roster spot tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs. Following an impressive preseason, including a 69-yard touchdown run against the Tennessee Titans, Wright aims to showcase his versatility beyond his speed. Currently, he is vying for the third running back position against veteran Velus Jones Jr. Wright needs to demonstrate his capabilities in pass blocking and short yardage to secure his place on the final roster for Week 1. This opportunity stems from his background as an undrafted free agent from Missouri State, where he spent last season on the practice squad.
