Jack Larriviere wins Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month for June recognition

LSU's Jack Larriviere has been honored as the Allstate Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month for June. The redshirt junior earned this recognition after securing a bronze medal in the javelin at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on June 10, 2026. Competing in Eugene, Oregon, Larriviere successfully qualified for the finals with a throw of 76.00 meters and achieved a final throw of 77.91 meters to place third nationally. Larriviere previously set a Louisiana high school record with a throw of 69.76 meters and overcame back injuries to become one of LSU’s top performers in the event.
