As discussions continue, the response from AEW talent remains mixed, with no clear resolution in sight.

- •The situation remains fluid with differing opinions from AEW talent.
- 8:30 PMCageside Seats — We’re pretty sure this is Jack Perry’s response to the CM Punk/AEW reunion talk
"We’ve probably spent more time mongering CM Punk rumors this week than at any time since 2023 around the end of his time at AEW and his WWE re-debut. But now the dust’s settled on those for the most part (he’s not leaving WWE, should be back relatively soon, and will probably be working with [POSSIBLE SPOILER] when he returns). So it seems appropriate that we close out the week by speculating about whether Punk’s final behind-the-scenes opponent at AEW is commenting on one of this week’s Punk rumors. Summarizing a Fightful Select report in our latest Rumor Roundup, Cain Knight wrote: There are people in AEW who believe the bridge with CM Punk is not burned, and that his relationship with key people there could potentially be repaired. “Never say never.” Something Cain did not include in his bullet point was that there are those at AEW who are unlikely to ever have a relationship with Punk again. Judging from Jack Perry’s Instagram Story, a lot of people think he’s one of them. Research doesn’t quickly come up with an artist credit, but the image has been used on everything from music releases to corporate training materials. Not that we need any insight from the artist. We’re pretty sure that’s a money burning a bridge behind him. He’s not leaving much material to rebuild with either. We’ve told you what our interpretation is. You tell us what you think below.
