Jack Pezzolo transfers to Auburn after freshman season at UC Davis

Left-handed pitcher Jack Pezzolo has committed to Auburn following his freshman year with UC Davis. During his time with the Aggies, Pezzolo started 11 games, striking out 43 batters and posting an ERA of 3.37. He is the third pitcher to transfer to Auburn this offseason and the first with starting experience. The Tigers have also added Zach Stevens from South Alabama and Corey Kling from Arizona to strengthen their pitching staff as they aim for a successful 2027 season after recent Super Regional exits.
