Jack Shore promotes first Stand and Bang event in Ebbw Vale

Former UFC fighter Jack Shore is set to promote his inaugural Stand and Bang event on August 22 at the Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre. The event will feature 23 bouts, focusing exclusively on striking with no grappling involved. Shore, who retired from fighting in December 2024, aims to cater to fans who prefer stand-up fights. He expressed his desire to put fighters first in the promotion process and hopes the event's scoring system will make bouts easier for the public to follow. Although it’s been a steep learning curve, Shore feels the successful organization of the event itself constitutes a win.
