Jackson Township opens season with win over Ocean in Week 0

Jackson Township recorded a 21-0 victory over Ocean in their season opener on August 27. After a scoreless first half, Jackson surged with 21 points in the fourth quarter, featuring key performances from sophomore quarterback Ryan Yurgel and defensive back Sha'Zir Taylor. Yurgel scored on a 1-yard sneak, Taylor returned an interception for a touchdown, and senior Blake Farrin added a rushing touchdown to cap his 113-yard night. The Jaguars overcame early injuries and showcased a solid defensive effort, preventing Ocean from capitalizing on turnovers.
