Jacksonville Jaguars begin process to assemble 2026 NFL practice squad

General manager James Gladstone is tasked with building the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad following the conclusion of NFL roster cuts. The organization expects to begin the official sign-in process after 1:00 PM ET on Monday once all waiver claims have been processed. The practice squad will consist of 16 players, though the team may add a 17th spot if they utilize the International Pathway Player exemption. Regulations allow for a maximum of six players with unlimited NFL experience, while up to 10 roster spots are reserved for players with two or fewer accrued seasons. While the team plans to look at players released from the training camp roster, the organization may also sign players from other teams.
