Jacob Bush competes for Great Britain Cycling Team at Tour of Britain

Jacob Bush, a 21-year-old cyclist from Stamford, is participating in his first Tour of Britain as part of the Great Britain Cycling Team. The 565-mile race began Wednesday in Lincoln and continues through Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire. Bush is competing alongside teammates including Matt Bostock, Ollie Wood, Ben Wiggins, Elliot Rowe, and William Smith. After earning a silver medal at the 2026 National Criterium Championships, Bush views this race as a developmental step toward a professional career. The multi-stage event featured an early route through the Lincolnshire Wolds and includes segments spanning from Boston to Skegness and Hull to Beverley.
