Jacob Devaney of Manchester United is in advanced talks with Hibernian regarding a loan move. The 19-year-old defender recently completed a pre-season with United, scoring in a match against Rosenborg. Previously, Devaney served as captain for United's Premier League 2 side and made 18 appearances on loan at St Mirren last season. While he aims for first-team minutes at United, a loan may provide the experience needed for his development. Hibernian recently drew 0-0 with Gent in their Conference League play-off.
