Jacob Knuth set to start for Kansas State against Arizona State

Summary

Kansas State's fifth-year quarterback Jacob Knuth is poised for his first career start against Arizona State on October 24, following the team's announcement that starting quarterback Avery Johnson is doubtful due to an injury. Johnson's injury status comes after he previously played without issue in a recent game against Kansas. Knuth, who has been a backup since 2023, has only a handful of snaps in prior seasons but did showcase some ability this season with a touchdown.
