Jacoby Brissett will not play for Cardinals against Cowboys in preseason

Summary

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett will sit out the preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday. Gardner Minshew is expected to start in Brissett's place, potentially playing into the third quarter. Rookie Carson Beck is also unlikely to play due to a rib injury. The team plans to give its starters a full workload in a joint practice with the Green Bay Packers next week, which will replace the snaps they would have taken in this preseason game. The Cowboys and Cardinals matchup is set for 10 p.m. ET on Saturday.
