Jadarian Price gains larger role for Seahawks backfield following Charbonnet injury

Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price faces an increased workload after the team placed Zach Charbonnet on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. Charbonnet, who suffered a torn ACL in January, will miss at least the first four games of the season. Following the move, Price remains the primary candidate to handle carries alongside George Holani and Emmanuel Wilson. Price was selected by Seattle with the 32nd pick in this year's draft after recording 113 carries for 674 yards and 11 touchdowns during his final season at Notre Dame. Head coach Mike Macdonald previously noted the rookie's progress during training camp. With Kenneth Walker no longer on the roster, the Seahawks look to the rookie to anchor the ground game as Charbonnet recovers.
