Jaden Thomas records hat trick in Stanford soccer win over Santa Clara

Stanford finished its non-conference schedule with a 4-0 victory against Santa Clara on Sunday. Jaden Thomas accounted for all four goals in the match, scoring three times and assisting on a goal by teammate Charlotte Kohler. Kohler opened the scoring in the 8th minute, while Thomas added goals in the 18th, 27th, and 51st minutes. Goalkeeper Rhiannon Stewart recorded four saves to secure the win for the Cardinal. The victory follows a draw against USC earlier in the week. Stanford, which remains undefeated, now prepares to face No. 2 Duke on the road on September 13.
