Manchester United has released Jadon Sancho, allowing the forward to leave on a free transfer after not extending his contract. Sancho’s departure marks the end of a five-year stint during which he made only 83 appearances, scoring 12 goals. He joins Casemiro and Tyrell Malacia in exiting the club on free transfers. United’s decision comes after Sancho’s challenges in securing a starting position, and he had been loaned out for much of his time at the club. Borussia Dortmund has expressed interest in re-signing him this summer.
