Jaguars celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Somos DUUUVAL initiative

The Jacksonville Jaguars launched a month-long celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month on September 1, under the initiative namedSomos DUUUVAL. This program includes youth sports camps and literacy outreach, focusing on the Hispanic community in Northeast Florida. Nearly 350 students from local elementary schools will participate in football camps featuring appearances from Jaguars players and team mascot Jaxson de Ville on September 15 and September 22. Additionally, the initiative will recognize local student-athletes through the NFL Latino Youth Honors program, with the Jaguars nominating Lorena Clutter and Enrique Ordoñez for recognition at the September 27 game against the New England Patriots.
