Jaguars elevate linebacker and change backup quarterback for Patriots game

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced the elevation of linebacker Jalen McLeod from the practice squad ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the New England Patriots. This will be McLeod's second elevation as he looks to contribute on special teams. The Jaguars will also have Quinn Ewers as the new backup quarterback, replacing Nick Mullens, who previously served in that role during the first two weeks of the season. Ewers has been working to familiarize himself with the offense since joining the team, as McLeod's elevation leaves the team without Mullens for this game.
