Jaguars focus on defense in 2027 NFL mock draft during bye week

The Jacksonville Jaguars are using their bye week to look ahead to the 2027 NFL draft, as discussed in a recent mock draft by Josh Edwards of CBS Sports. With the 27th pick, the mock predicts the Jaguars will select Cal safety Kingston Lopa, who has demonstrated notable talent with five interceptions in six games this season. This focus on safety aligns with the Jaguars' recent draft history, in which they have prioritized the position. Currently, the Jaguars have multiple players at safety approaching free agency, which could influence their draft strategy.
