Jaguars HC Liam Coen discusses plan for Travis Hunter usage

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen addressed the team's strategy regarding two-way player Travis Hunter on October 9. Despite calls for Hunter to have a larger role on offense, Coen reiterated their commitment to a specific plan for his deployment. In Jacksonville's Week 4 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, Hunter excelled defensively, recording a high coverage grade and intercepting a pass, though a penalty negated a remarkable return. His offensive snaps remain limited, with just 16 through the season’s first four weeks, underscoring the Jaguars' cautious approach. Coen indicated that while Hunter's offensive role is currently minimal, it may evolve as the season progresses.
