Jaguars' Jakobi Meyers jams thumb, may miss time during practices

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Jakobi Meyers jammed his thumb during practice ahead of the preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on August 19. Although Meyers did not play in the game, he was seen with a glove and a brace on his right hand. Head coach Liam Coen stated the team will evaluate his status further by Tuesday. With Meyers potentially sidelined, rookie pass catchers CJ Williams and Josh Cameron may see increased reps in practice. The Jaguars are also without Parker Washington, who is expected to return this week after dealing with an undisclosed injury.
