Jaguars' Jimto Obidegwu faces competition for OL roster spot

Offensive lineman Jimto Obidegwu, who joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent, is in a competitive position group ahead of training camp. At 6-5 and 335 pounds, the 23-year-old has played over 2,100 snaps across multiple college programs, most recently at North Texas, where he excelled at right tackle. Despite his strong performance, including no sacks allowed last season, Obidegwu will have to compete against nine returning linemen and newly drafted Emmanuel Pregnon for a possible spot on the 53-man roster. Should he not secure a roster position, Obidegwu's Year 1 ceiling may be limited to the practice squad, allowing him to continue his development.
