The Jacksonville Jaguars did not finalize a deal with running back J.K. Dobbins during NFL free agency. The team sought to fill the void left by Travis Etienne, who joined the New Orleans Saints, by signing Chris Rodriguez Jr. for two years. Dobbins had an agreement largely in place with Jacksonville but ultimately returned to the Denver Broncos on a two-year contract worth up to $20 million. Dobbins' productivity when healthy adds to the depth of the Broncos' backfield, which will now not include him in Jacksonville's plans for the upcoming season.
