Jaguars sign cornerback Alijah Huzzie from Texans practice squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars are adding cornerback Alijah Huzzie to their 53-man roster. The signing comes as the team deals with injuries to cornerbacks Montaric Brown and Christian Braswell, both of whom missed the previous game. Huzzie, who spent time on the Texans' practice squad, intercepted one pass last season and has experience as both an outside cornerback and nickel. He had notable success in college, recording 10 interceptions and 27 pass breakups during his final three seasons. The Jaguars will look to integrate Huzzie into their defensive scheme as they prepare for upcoming games.
