Jaguars sign long snapper Ross Matiscik to two-year extension

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced a two-year contract extension with long snapper Ross Matiscik on June 17, 2026. The deal is worth $3.8 million, making Matiscik the highest-paid long snapper in the NFL. Matiscik, who has been with the Jaguars since 2020, has earned Pro Bowl selections for the past three seasons and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2023 and 2025. The extension secures a key player in the Jaguars' special teams unit, which includes kicker Cam Little and punter Logan Cooke. Matiscik's previous contract was set to expire after the 2026 season, but he is now under contract through 2028.
