Jahdae Barron expected to have breakout season with Broncos

Summary

Jahdae Barron, a former first-round draft pick, is projected for a significant role with the Denver Broncos in the 2026 NFL season. After limited action in his rookie year, Barron's opportunities may increase due to the team's strong defensive backfield featuring standout players. Analysts suggest he could challenge for a starting spot after appearing in five games last season. Barron's development and contribution will be crucial as the Broncos work through decisions regarding their cornerback depth chart, especially with contracts expiring for key players. His role in various defensive packages last year hints at a more prominent position moving forward.
