Jahmyr Gibbs holds out as Lions look to reset RB market

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs did not participate in practice on July 30, 2026, as he seeks a new long-term contract. The Lions have been proactive with contract extensions for former first-round picks, and Gibbs aims to reset the running back market. He joins Atlanta Falcons' Bijan Robinson, who is also holding out for a new deal.
