Jai Brown sets state records and wins three national track events

Crane native Jai Brown established three new state records at the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation meet before winning three gold medals at the national competition in Iowa. Brown claimed victory in the 100M, 200M, and long jump events. During the national 200M race, he overcame a close finish by diving across the line to secure his win. Despite suffering a wound during that effort, he finished the event ahead of the field. His performance follows a string of record-breaking results at the state level, where he surpassed long-standing marks in all three categories. Following his success at nationals, Brown identified the Olympics as his long-term career goal.
