Jake Bennett excels in Triple-A, awaits return to Red Sox roster

Jake Bennett continues to impress at Triple-A Worcester after incorporating a new curveball into his pitching arsenal. The 25-year-old left-hander, who was called up to the Boston Red Sox earlier this season, holds a 1.60 ERA with 41 strikeouts in 39.1 innings pitched across nine starts. Bennett was sent back to the WooSox after a brief stint with Boston, where he made a notable debut against the Houston Astros. With current Red Sox pitcher Brayan Bello demoted to Triple-A, Bennett could be next in line for a call-up, showing readiness and confidence as he awaits the opportunity.
