Jakob Breum shines for Saint-Etienne after summer transfer

Summary

Jakob Breum has made an impressive start to his career with Saint-Etienne after transferring from Go Ahead Eagles this summer. The 22-year-old Danish midfielder showcased his talent in pre-season with goals against Rangers, Lausanne, and Venezia. In the Ligue 2 opener against Sochaux, he contributed a goal, an assist, and a pre-assist within the first 30 minutes, earning man of the match honors. Breum continued his scoring streak by netting the final goal in a 3-1 victory over Clermont, helping his team secure the top position in the league standings. His strong performances are raising questions among Celtic supporters regarding the missed opportunity to sign him.
