Jalen Brunson and Victor Wembanyama, the stars of the 2026 NBA Finals, faced off in Game 1 on June 3 at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center. Brunson scored a game-high 30 points, leading the New York Knicks to a 105-95 victory and extending their postseason win streak to 12 games. Wembanyama recorded 26 points and 12 rebounds but struggled with shot efficiency. Brunson’s trainer, Dave Williams, developed a contested shooting tool named ‘The Wemby’ to help Brunson prepare for Wembanyama's imposing presence. Game 2 is scheduled to tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET on June 5.
