Jalen Davis lists Iowa basketball among top 10 schools

Five-star guard Jalen Davis has included Iowa in his top 10 schools, which features programs like Texas Tech, UCLA, and Gonzaga. The 6-foot-4 athlete from Bremerton High School, ranked 20th nationally for the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite, is also the reigning Gatorade Washington Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Davis has plans for official visits to Iowa, Gonzaga, Ole Miss, Stanford, and UCLA. He has a strong scoring ability, averaging over 23 points per game during the 3SSB season and demonstrating effective off-ball movement and passing skills. Iowa has one commitment in the 2027 class with four-star prospect Keller Daugherty but is actively pursuing other top recruits like Cayden Daughtry and Jaxson Davis.
