Jalen Hurts serves as official champion for 2027 I Heart CHOP event

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will serve as the official champion for the 2027 I Heart CHOP Run, Walk and Virtual Challenge. The event is scheduled to take place on April 25, 2027, at FDR Park in South Philadelphia. It features both a 3-mile run and a 1.5-mile family fun walk to benefit the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A month-long virtual challenge will also be available for remote participants from May 1 through May 31, 2027. The inaugural event previously raised more than $1.7 million with over 7,000 participants involved. Funds raised through the initiative support the Children’s Fund, which covers hospital programs, research, and patient care, or specific areas chosen by team participants.
