Oklahoma City Thunder announced that Jalen Williams successfully underwent surgery to repair a fractured fibula and dislocated ankle. The procedure was carried out by Dr. Martin O’Malley at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Williams suffered these injuries during a game against the LA Clippers last Sunday after a mid-air collision. He will be re-evaluated before the end of the 2026-27 regular season, leaving open the possibility of return for the postseason. Additionally, teammate Cason Wallace also sustained a torn labrum and requires surgery.
