Bayern Munich will be without Jamal Musiala for their Bundesliga opener against VfB Stuttgart on Friday. Musiala is diagnosed with absence seizures due to a neurological issue and is expected to return to training this week. He collapsed during pre-season friendlies against RB Leipzig and Heidenheim, prompting adjustments to his medication by Bayern's medical team. Nathaniel Brown may fill the central attacking midfield role, as he did in Bayern's recent DFL-Supercup win over Borussia Dortmund. New signing Ismael Saibari is also working on his fitness following an injury.
