Jamarion Sharp signs with Clippers, becomes NBA's tallest active player

Summary

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed center Jamarion Sharp to a two-way contract, making him the tallest active player in the NBA at 7'5", surpassing Victor Wembanyama and Zach Edey. While initially unlikely to see significant playing time against Wembanyama, Sharp’s addition allows for more depth at center. Sharp played college basketball at Western Kentucky and Ole Miss, where he averaged 3.3 points and 4.1 rebounds during his last season. The Clippers are keen to observe Sharp's development with their G League affiliate. This signing comes as Wembanyama continues to be a key figure for the San Antonio Spurs after leading them to the NBA Finals last season.
