Harden reached a career earnings milestone of $511 million with this agreement, becoming the fourth player in NBA history to exceed $500 million in career earnings. Despite the team reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last season, seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry questioned Harden's satisfaction with the new deal on his podcast. Horry also expressed skepticism regarding the long-term championship potential of the current Cavaliers roster.
