Jamie Humphreys dismisses Perth rumours and targets South Sydney contract extension

Despite being off-contract at the end of 2026, the 24-year-old clarified he has not signed with another club and intends to remain with the Rabbitohs. Humphreys admitted he considered the possibility of joining the expansion team after touring their facilities mid-season, but ultimately decided the timing was not right for his career. He is currently focused on the Rabbitohs' upcoming finals campaign and hopes to finalize a new deal with his current club shortly after the season concludes. The former Manly junior has recorded 36 NRL appearances and remains a member of the bench rotation under head coach Wayne Bennett.
