Janel Grant to receive Advocacy in Action Award in September

Janel Grant will be honored with the 2026 Advocacy in Action Award by the Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence. The award is scheduled for presentation at their annual breakfast in September. Grant, a survivor of workplace sexual assault, has been active in advocating for changes to nondisclosure agreement laws in Connecticut. She has also spoken publicly about her experience and testified before state legislative committees, seeking to limit the use of NDAs that silence survivors. Recently, Grant filed a joint motion with Vince McMahon and WWE to move her lawsuit to private arbitration.
