Jannik Sinner, Stan Wawrinka among notable absences from US Open

As the 2026 US Open approaches, Jannik Sinner, the ATP World No. 1, will not compete due to a knee injury. Other ATP players absent include Jack Draper and Holger Rune. Stan Wawrinka did not receive a wildcard and will miss the tournament in his farewell year.
