Jared Curtis named starter for Vanderbilt against NC State

Jared Curtis will make his first career start for the Vanderbilt Commodores on September 19 against NC State. The former five-star Georgia commitment earned the starting role after scoring three touchdowns in a win over Delaware in Week 2. Curtis had lost the Week 1 competition to senior Blaze Berlowitz, who struggled in that game. This matchup comes just two weeks after Curtis's commitment to Vanderbilt for a better chance at early playing time. Vanderbilt has scored 63 points in its first two games, while Georgia leads the nation averaging 66.5 points per game.
