Jared McCain trolls teammate Chet Holmgren over NBA 2K27 rating

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Jared McCain recently poked fun at teammate Chet Holmgren regarding his strength rating in the video game NBA 2K27. During a YouTube vlog documenting a team trip to the TCU campus, McCain jokingly remarked that the team’s chemistry was superior to Holmgren’s in-game strength statistic of 45. Holmgren, who was an All-NBA performer and Defensive Player of the Year runner-up this past season, responded by challenging McCain to an arm-wrestling contest. The public ribbing follows a difficult conclusion to the Thunder's season, in which the team fell to the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals. Holmgren has faced persistent social media scrutiny following a scoreless performance in the series' deciding seventh game. The Oklahoma City Thunder are scheduled to face the San Antonio Spurs on Opening Night.
