Jaslene Massey, Mia Uusorg earn silver medals at World U20 meet

Jaslene Massey and Mia Uusorg, both future Oregon Ducks, won silver medals at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon. Massey secured her medal in the women’s discus with a throw of 191 feet, while Uusorg achieved second place in the heptathlon with a score of 5,961 points. Massey faced challenges with air quality but managed to perform well in her events. Uusorg's final event performance in the 800 meters helped her clinch second position, closing her competition on a high note. Both athletes are set to enroll at Oregon this fall.
