EDMONTON, ALBERTA - OCTOBER 17: Jasmine Jasudavicius of Canada grapples with Erin Blanchfield in their women's flyweight fight during UFC Fight Night event at Rogers Centre on October 17, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. (Photo by Ed Mulholland/Zuffa LLC) Jasmine Jasudavicius wants her shot at UFC gold after dominating Erin Blanchfield as a sizable underdog in Canada. The hometown fighter used two lopsided early rounds to pick up a huge win in the co-main event of UFC Edmonton on Saturday. Jasudavicius earned unanimous 29-28 scorecards across the board after a performance that far exceeded the scorecards. Jasudavicius dominated the first round and Blanchfield has nothing for her. The Canadian fighter got the takedown and stuck in dominant positions, nearly finishing Blanchfield on multiple occasions on the back. Blanchfield came out much more aggressively in the second round, but Jasudavicius was able to powerhouse Blanchfield to the mat. While “Cold-Blooded” attempted craftiness to reverse course, Jasudavicius was too much for her. Jasudavicus, again, nearly finished the fight multiple times, and had a case for a pair of 10-8 rounds to start the pivotal co-headliner. As the third round began, Blanchfield knew she needed a finish. She was able to land on the feet, but Jasudavicius showed absolutely no respect for anything coming back at her. Eventually, Jasudavicius took the fight back to the ground to lock up a clear-cut victory. After the victory, Jasudavicius called for her shot at a rematch with new UFC women’s flyweight champ Natalia Silva.
