Jasmine Perez wins St. Cloud Times Athlete of the Week award

Rocori eighth grader Jasmine Perez has been named the St. Cloud Times Athlete of the Week for Sept. 14-21. She earned the title after scoring five goals in a 6-3 victory over Little Falls. Perez leads the Rocori soccer team with nine goals this season and has also achieved a personal best time of 12.03 seconds in the 100-meter dash. Rocori maintains a 5-5 record this season, and they will face Apollo on Sept. 29. Voting for Athlete of the Week continues weekly from Monday to Friday.
