Jason Horne-Francis earned his first John Cahill Medal as the Port Adelaide best and fairest player on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old midfielder polled 88 votes to finish ahead of runner-up Zak Butters, who recorded 83 votes despite a season shortened by an ankle injury. Mitch Georgiades rounded out the top three with 69 votes. Throughout the 2026 season, Horne-Francis averaged 23 disposals and 5.8 clearances per game while contributing 27 goals. The ceremony also saw Willem Drew secure his fourth consecutive Fos Williams Medal for best team man, while Jack Whitlock and Josh Lai received the Gavin Wanganeen Medal and coaches' award respectively. The event took place at the Adelaide Convention Centre as the club prepares for significant off-season changes, including the departure of free agent Zak Butters.
