Jasper Invitational showcases talent as local teams compete in tennis

The second Jasper Invitational for IHSAA boys tennis took place at the Ed Yarbrough Tennis Complex on September 11 and 12, featuring eight schools. While Bloomington South secured the overall title, Jasper's No. 2 doubles team, Karsen Roth and Eli Hartings, won their bracket. Jasper also reached the finals in multiple categories, including No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. Notable performances included Henry Trapp of Castle winning the No. 1 singles tournament. Jasper head coach Scott Yarbrough praised the team's effort and progress during the event. The upcoming dual match between Jasper and Bloomington South is set for September 17.
