Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of Sri Lanka Test series due to knee injury

Jasprit Bumrah will not participate in India's upcoming two-Test series against Sri Lanka, which begins on August 15 in Galle. The top-ranked Test bowler is sidelined due to a left knee injury sustained while fielding in July during a one-day international against England. As a replacement, the BCCI has named uncapped fast bowler Auqib Nabi, who has performed well in recent domestic seasons. Sai Sudharsan's involvement in the squad is conditional on passing a fitness test.
