Jay Huff enters second consecutive season with the Indiana Pacers

Indiana Pacers center Jay Huff enters the upcoming NBA campaign with unprecedented professional stability. After spending his first four seasons across four different franchises on multiple two-way contracts, the 28-year-old returns to Indiana for his second straight year with the team. Huff played in all 82 games during his first season with the franchise, recording averages of 9.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He spent the summer participating in team workouts and scrimmages with teammates, including point guard Tyrese Haliburton. The team holds a contract option for the 2027-28 season, which is now fully guaranteed following minutes played thresholds met last year.
