Jay Norvell and 2025 CSU football staff take on new roles

Following a coaching change at Colorado State, the status of the 2025 football coaching staff has been updated as the 2026 season begins. Jay Norvell, who was fired midseason in October 2025, is now serving as the running backs coach at Iowa. Tyson Summers, who took over as interim head coach after Norvell's dismissal, remains as the defensive coordinator under new head coach Jim Mora. Other former staff members have transitioned to various positions, including Bill Best at Louisiana Tech and Tommy Perry at South Alabama.
